Monthly Recap - April '26

✨Once again, it's time to recap all the things happening on the blog and in my reading life✨

BOOKS READ 📚

You can already see by the inconsistency of genres above that my reading has been all over the place 😂 I started with sci-fi, then I read some ridiculous TikTok romance novels (ugh so much cringe), then I went back to sci-fi. After that, I switched to romance novels. The constant switching was a consequence of not actually liking the books I read and wanting to change genres to sort of reset my brain and maybe enjoy something else 😂

Unfortunately, it was a month of mediocrity as I rated most books 3 stars (and 2 even got 2 stars). The only books from this list that I'll actually remember are Operation Bounce House, When the Moon Hits Your Eye, System Collapse and Escaping Pirates. Everything else is already slowly slipping from memory...

These stats might be "meh" but you kno what? I read 2 books more than last month and I found a new favorite Cinderella retelling, so I'm calling it a win 😂 Also, spoilers, May is treating me much better and I can't wait to gush about all the amazing romance novels I read so far 👀

When it comes to blogging, I wrote 16 posts in April, which is less than I hoped for, but I'm happy to say that my posts had much more variety than in March!
