☕📚 A weekend full of reading 💐✨
My original post got too long for my tastes so I decided to post my Sunday updates in Part 2. 😂 If you want to see all of my previous updates, you can check them out HERE ✨ Now, here's where I left you last night:
🎲 4 - First book that comes to mind
🎲 1 - Free space
I finished both of these prompts this morning when I picked up But He's My One Regret and after that I drafted a couple of posts for my Free Space.
I think I read for about an hour and the book is really good so far! While it can be read as a standalone, all the stories are interconnected so there were references to the first book (and a couple more that are probably set-ups for the next ones, which I absolutely love lol). After that, I did a few rolls:
🎲 5 - Move 3 spaces -> Comfort Genre
🎲 2 - Have a sweet treat
🎲 4 - Free Space
So for this one, I obviously continued reading the same book because rom-coms are super relaxing and among my favorite comfort reads. For the sweet treat, I made a chocolate cappuccino because I'm notoriously known as the only non-coffee drinker in my family 😂 I don't know yet what I'll do for my "free space." I might play KuloNiku: Bowl Up! some more or watch an episode of my favorite Turkish series, either case, I'm gonna have fun lol

✨ Sunday 18:35 ✨
I ended up watching an episode of a Turkish series I'm following (Tasacak bu Deniz) and it's so good. Ever since this series came out, I've been OBSESSED.
Time to roll again and I have a feeling this will be the last time for this readathon because it's getting late and I feel very satisfied with what I've done so far! 😎
🎲 4 - Exercise
🎲 5 - Move 3 spaces -> Enjoy nature
🎲 4 - First book that comes to mind
I'm gonna merge the first two prompts and go for another walk with my dog. 😊 There's a festival going on in town, so my family and I are probably gonna go visit! Then I'm just gonna continue with the book I'm currently reading.
✨ Sunday 20:50 ✨
We ended up taking the longer walking route and decided to enjoy the festival a bit more. We have these types of festivals every year where they sell handmade accessories, food, toys, flowers and all sorts of nick nacks. There's live music, DJs, food carts etc. It can be fun but since I (and my dog lol) am not fond of crowds, I usually try not to linger too much 😂
After coming back home, I read for about 40 minutes. I'm currently 60% in and I stand by my original statement - this book is too cute. 😂
I'll probably do my final update tomorrow when I come home from work because I plan on reading in bed, so there's still time to finish this book 😅
✨ Final Update✨
Looking back, this weekend has been one of the cosiest, most hobby-focused, relaxing I've had this year 😍 I'm so glad this readathon exists because it reminds me to do things I love in a fun, gamified way. Here are my final stats:
In total, I spent 7 hours reading, I finished 2 books and 70% of a third one. I also went on lots of walks, colored a page, gamed a bit, journaled and even drafted 4 posts! All in all, I'm very satisfied with the results and can't wait to do this again 🥰
