❗❗ Before I get into the BBH I have a tiny announcement. I'll be going on an exciting 6-day trip and if you comment on my blog, I probably won't be able to respond! I'm also not gonna be active on any of your blogs because, well, I'm off to do tourist things 😂 I have a few posts drafted so those will go up, but I won't have internet half of the time so yeah, please be patient with me ❤️
Now itt's time for the Book Blog Hop! Here's the official description:
The first iteration of the Book Blogger Hop, which was started in March 2010 by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books, ended on December 31, 2012. On February 15, 2013, Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer reintroduced the hop with Jennifer's approval. The hop will begin on a Friday of each week and end on a Thursday of the following week. Every week, there will be a prompt with a book-related query. The aim of the blog hop is to provide bloggers with an opportunity to follow other blogs, discover new books, make friends with other bloggers, and gain new followers for their own sites.
This week's question is:
🐇 "Are there any winter or holiday-themed novels you eagerly anticipate reading every December?" 🐇
Since I'm not that much of a rereader, I don't have novels I come back to each year. I do reread some favorites, but years apart and on a rare occasion.
I have to admit, I don't even read winter-themed novels that much either 😂 I did put a few on my TBR, mostly rom-coms, but that's it.
When I think about winter, there's a specific genre that I usually read at this time of year - fantasy. If I want to be specific, it's the retellings subgenre. There's something magical about reading fairytales while everything is dark, cold and snow is slowly falling. It's the perfect combo to cozy up with ✨
Now you know what my Winter To-Do List will be made up of 😂
Which book/s do you read during winter? Or is there a specific genre that you enjoy most during winter time?
