New week means new Monday bookish meme hosted by The Book Date.

Two boarding school mysteries but if you asked me, none of them will stay with me after this week. The Wilde Trials was a bit better with the competition thing going on but it wasn't enough. The characters were unmemorable, the romantic subplots had no chemistry and I guessed most of the plot before the halfway point.
The Meadowbrook Murders annoyed me more because the two main characters did almost nothing to solve the mystery - instead of investigating, they passively waited for things to happen.

Just picked this up a few minutes ago, hoping it delivers what it says - a thrilling babysitting job going wrong. 😁
After DNF-ing Secrets of the Blue Hand Girls, these two are the only ones left from my September TBR so I'll try to read both as soon as possible.
