New week means new Monday bookish meme hosted by The Book Date.
After DNF-ing Tainted Beauty (it was so cringe y'all and literally every character that came into contact with Belle had to comment on her beauty...it was super annoying), I needed something more fun, something I knew I was gonna love. That's why I reread Assistant to the Villain 😂 There was one more reason I picked it up...after dropping the last book midway through, I could feel the blasted curse forming...THE READING SLUMP
Immediately, I put my emergency plan into action, and everything is all well now 😂😂
Only a few chapters left of this reread and then I'm off to read the thid book! Apprentice to the Villain is a book I greatly appreciate when it comes to character development. Evie Sage became a formidable opponent and started to believe in herself more and of course I loved every second of it ♥
Hopefully, I'll finish this by Friday so I can dive into all those promised dragon books this weekend 😏

No! Not the reading slump!! This is such a good series to help keep it away though! The first two books at least 😅 I'm very curious to see what you'll think of the third one.
