Ship, Inc. - cozy packaging job sim! 📦✨

Pack orders, stamp some stickers and ship the perfect package! ✨😊

"Run a wholesome shipping business! Ship, Inc. is a cozy job simulator where you are a packaging employee in a parcel shipment company. Follow the shipment orders, choose the package size, and prepare parcels. Upgrade your office, deliver orders safely and quickly!" - Steam

I absolutely adore cozy job simulators and this one was no different. You have several orders to package and ship and you have to be extra careful! Some items require special stickers (e.g. chemical, fragile, heavy) and some need to be wrapped in bubble wrap! Basically, no order is the same.

It can get a bit chaotic once you unlock more items and more orders start to come in, but that's why it's so fun! While some orders pay more if you do them in a shorter time span, you basically have all the time in the world - there are no penalties for that. You have a certain number of orders for that day but the day isn't measured in any way, the moment you finish the last order, that's when it ends.

Of course, after you're done with the packages, you need to put them in the truck! While I appreciated the sentiment, I didn't particulary care for this part of the day because the box sorting can be a bit glitchy. I guess there were some alignment problems because sometimes the boxes would move on their own in the truck if I set them too close to each other. In any case, I didn't mind this too much because it's only like the last 30 seconds of the day playthrough.

For some reason, my favorite part was the fact that you can unlock different colors of work stations/tape/packing peanuts. I can't even tell you how much I loved choosing the perfect color combo for the items I was supposed to send. Not only that, but there is also an option to buy a drink at the start of the day, which gives you certain perks at work (e.g., unlimited tape, double paymen,t etc.) and you can set it on your work table and it looks so cute.

The only "con" I can think of is this - once you buy the house, there isn't much incentive to play more. It lacks a bit story-wise. On one hand, it's nice to just play the game routinely, like a real job in a shipping company, but on the other hand, I wish there was something to look forward to. Once you buy all the upgrades (and I did that pretty quickly), it becomes a bit boring. The game doesn't get harder and there aren't that many new things to unlock. The difficulty is not a problem if you prefer your cozy games extra cozy, but I do enjoy a challenge from time to time. I think the game is being regularly updated, so I'm still hoping for more content.
