New week means new Monday bookish meme hosted by The Book Date.
I'm not entirely sure what went wrong with this book but I'm definitely gonna think about it so I can put it in my rant review 😂 In the end I gave it 3 stars because it wasn't entirely bad - I still cared for Kingsley, Becky and Blade plus the plot did take some interesting turns here and there.
Only have the last chapter left so I can say that it was a solid 3.5 star read. I won't be reading the sequel but I see the potential and qualities in this one. It's just that the book didn't fit what I usually like - it had too many descriptions which I skimmed over 😂
I can feel the fantasy mood leaving me, and it was a miracle it lasted this long. I read 8 fantasy books in January and Dragon's Kiss was 9th. I think I have it in me for one more, but we'll see 😂 Either way, after this I'm diving into murder mysteries 🖤
