Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. Here is the topic of the week:
🔁 Books I'd Like to Re-read 🔁
I love rereading faves from time to time, but I also reread when there's a new sequel out for a series I read ages ago and need to refresh my memory. Just this past month I already reread some books so I'm gonna add them to this list because it's not a very long list 😂
These 3 I have already reread: Murderbot so I can watch the TV show and Powerless/Reckless, so I can finish the series and read Fearless. Now, moving on to other books I'd like to reread either this or next year.
Illuminae is one of the most original sci-fi novels I've read and it's been quite I while since I finished it so I thought it would be a good idea to go back to this world 😄
I have already reread A List of Cages TWICE, but it's such a heartwrenching story that gives me the most hope that things will turn out right, no matter how hard they might be now. What's interesting about On the Jellicore Road is that I have no idea what this story is about and why I rated it 5 stars 😂 I read this book almost 10 years ago now, and whenever I look at the cover, I just know there was something super important and emotional about it, but I can't remember what. I think it's finally time to find out 😅
I think that's it. Every other series I've already caught up on and don't have the need to reread 😅

A List of Cages sounds good.
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful and emotional, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat ❤️
DeleteI know they're very different books but I really want to read both Powerless and A List of Cages! I've had my eye on them since they came out.
ReplyDeleteAnd I've been meaning to reread The Illuminae Files for some years now, I loved them, they're very well-crafted, and I was so surprised by them, especially since I'm not a fan of sci-fi.
Powerless is super fun, but A List of Cages is a story that will stick with you for years 🥰
DeleteYou are so right, Illuminae had the best plot schemes and the best formatting!
I really need to give the Murderbot Diaries a shot!
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely recommend you give the books a try! Especially since they're so short 😂 In a few pages you're gonna get a wild ride and also some truly funny monologues.
DeleteI hope you'll love Fearless! I'd love to do a re-read of Illuminae some day too, so that I can then finish the series because I never did.
ReplyDeleteWell...I did and I didn't 😂 On one hand, the plot twists were crazy, but on the other hand I found it to be slightly too repetitive. I don't regret reading it though!
DeleteI hope you enjoy reading all of your favorites when you get the chance.

Thanks! I hope so too 🥰
DeleteSame. When I reread, it's mostly because I want to catch up in a series and I've forgotten what happened in the last book(s). My memory is just not great! LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
