Here are some books that I think would be amazing to read during summer - either because of their theme, the time they're set in, or just vibes ✨

Pacifica ⛵

An adventure about a badass pirate girl and a soft rich guy who wants to save his best friend. Not only that, but the world-building was so exciting and detailed that I felt like I spent years on the sea myself!

Sunkissed 🕶

This book is a K.West classic - you've got good banter, lovely setting, amazing side characters and of course, fluffy romance. Bonus points for cute sibling rep!

A canoe race where childhood best friends turned enemies "dive deeper" into their feelings, plans for the future and relationships with others. Who knows, maybe this forced bonding time even helps them grow as people and actually become friends again?

I Killed Zoe Spanos 🎙

Two very different people stuck on a survival TV show have to work together to overcome all sorts of obstacles - literal ones and figurative ones. The thing I loved most is the fact that they're both such nice people and huge green flags!

How We Became Wicked 🦟

A horror book about a virus carried through ultraviolet mosquitoes that turns people into murderers. It's also set in this small community that lives on an island, and there's nothing around you for miles except for those bloody mosquitoes that caused this chaos, buzzing around. It's deliciously creepy.
