A to Z: Admirable Reads

 

Welcome to yet another blogging topic I can't help myself but start using again 😂 It's the alphabet recommendations type of thing where each time I take one letter and show you book titles starting with that letter. 

Obviously, we're gonna start with A and I'll try to have at least 6 recommendations each time, but I'm guessing some letters are gonna be trickier than others 😂

  

  

I've just realized that 4 out of 6 of these are sci-fi 😂 At least they're different types. Across the Universe is set on a spaceship and also has a bit of a romance subplot. Alive is a dystopian survival story, while All Our Yesterdays is a time-travel, mind-blowing novel. That leaves All Systems Red, which you all know by now is a novella about a snarky android who dislikes humans but loves watching soap operas. 

Besides the sci-fi, we have Akarnae, a gorgeous fantasy adventure series about a girl arriving at a mysterious land who has to enroll at a special school for gifted kids and defeat an unimaginable evil. Aftermath is a contemporary novel that deals with, well, the aftermath of a school shooting and how 2 teens deal with their losses while trying to resolve some loose ends.
