The mood from last month continues 😂
I have finally finished rewatching The Mentalist and while I was tiny bit sad that it's over, I'm also relieved 😂 Look, it wasn't the same when Lisbon, Jane and Cho switched over to the FBI without Wayne and Grace. It was far more "techy" and less "cozy" if you know what I mean 😅
Also, there were a million episodes and I wanted to watch something else, but I didn't wanna leave this last season unwatched so I forced myself to finish it. It was okay, but the light switch in tone (and characters) was something I didn't really like.
Then I switched to Poker Face season 2 and I'm having the time of my life 😂 Truly, I don't know what's better - the cinematography, the actors, the plot twists...it's all so crazy gorgeous. I haven't watched all of it yet, but the few episodes I did watch blew me away.
Now that I'm looking at this poster, I had no idea the creator of Knives Out worked on it! That explains a lot 😂

JUROR #2 ⭐⭐✨
The only movie I watched in the last 2 weeks was Juror #2 and honestly, I could've lived without it. I've seen lots of positive reviews and they mostly enjoyed all the things I didn't, so I guess this is a "it's me not you" type of thing 😂
The thing is, I had WILDLY different expectations. I thought he was gonna be some crazy psychotic killer who uses the jury to get away with murder...turns out it's just some random nice guy who accidentally did one bad thing and is feeling guilty. I'm sorry, but that's just boring to me 😅
I know that I should've watched the trailer first, then I wouldn't have such expectations, but to be honest, then I wouldn't have watched the movie at all 😅 This is purely a character-driven story about a man and his inner turmoil. Should he say something or not? Should he help or not?
It wasn't all bad; I enjoyed the acting, it was superb. But this story simply wasn't for me...
