BOOKS READ 📚
Wow, May was an interesting month... I read 5 and DNF-ed 3 books.
I can't even say anything besides - THE MOOD DID IT! And some of the books were truly boring, sorry not sorry. 😂😂 First, I'll tell you all about the books I actually read, and then I'll mention the ones I happily skipped.
I started the month with some healing fiction, and while I absolutely adored Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop, the next one I picked up bored me out of my mind. I gave The Healing Season of Pottery 2 stars, and that's only because there were a couple of cute moments, and a cat I really liked 😂
Then I switched to romantasy, which was the best decision ever after dropping 2 healing fiction books. The Concealed was super fun and brought me some early 2010s dystopian vibes. The Dark King and the Eternal Dance could easily be renamed to The Angsty Teen King and the Eternal Cringeness. I just couldn't with that book. The last book I read was probably my fave, and that was the Rapunzel retelling called The Golden Prince. It was an amazing 4.5-star read that I'd happily recommend.
Now..here's my graveyard of buried hopes aka the DNF-ed books 😂
The first one had too many descriptions, which I deemed boring, the second one had some elements I didn't expect and therefore wasn't in the mood to read, the last one was a combo of cringe and boring monologues.

Ahh just like with books, I sort of failed with blogging compared to last month 😅 In April I wrote 17 posts while this month I had only 13. Actually, considering all the obligations I had and all the craziness at work (the school year is ending and the kids are at their most chaotic level), this is not that bad. Yep, I'm gonna leave it at that.
