This is, I believe, part 4 of my 2025 reading challenge cheat sheets and this time, it's all about the Read With Allison's 2025 Reading Challenge! If you need more recs for other challenges, click on the "cheat sheets" category in the sidebar. All the books mentioned below, I've rated 4 stars or higher 😄
Before I begin, I wanna say that out of the 52 prompts, I will be recommending you books for 30. There are 5 reading promps that are genre-related only - e.g. read a contemporary novel or a fantasy novel. These prompts are too easy and broad and you can finish them by reading any of the other books I'll mention. Aside from those, there are 17 prompts that I truly can't help you with and you'll see why 😂
Here are the prompts I won't be doing: highest-rated book on TBR; you and author share first initial; book gifted to you; book from a subscription box; out of your comfort zone; listen to an audiobook; you've owned longer than one year; five-star prediction; recommended by a friend; library book; mood read; two books by the same author; book that scares you; book you've been putting off; book you think will surprise you; reread a favorite book.
All of these depend on your personal tastes, emotions, and what books you can find in your local library/ get from a friend.
Now here are the first 15 prompts!
"2024 bestseller"
“set in winter”
“five words in title”
“gold lettering on cover”
“set in a city known for its nightlife”
“book with an ugly cover"
“book by two authors”
“book in a series”
“cover with a night sky”
“set in a small town”
“indie author”
“book about secrets”
“book with multiple POVs”
“set at a lake”
“illustrated cover”
I have intentionally mentioned some books multiple times - in case you want to cross over multiple prompts with one book. This is one of the harder challenges I'm participating in so I'm hoping this lil cheat sheet will make it easier for you 😄
