Down The TBR Hole #1

Down The TBR Hole is a a book meme created by Lia @ Lost In A Story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sorting through it all to know what’s actually on there.

I've already done this meme on my old blog but decided to bring it here as well. It's both useful and kinda fun to do, deciding which book lives another day. I've also decided that I HAVE TO remove at least one book each time. I can't let my TBR grow like last time, someone has to keep it in control  😂

It works like this:

1. Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.

2. Order on ascending date added.

3. Take the first 5* (or more) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.

4. Read the synopses of the books

5. Decide: keep it or should it go?

*I decided to take 4 books at a time because my TBR luckily isn't that long...yet.

Let's begin!

Once Upon a KProm - while this sounds like it'll be full of cliches and a bit cringey, I want to read it okay?? A girl going to prom with her childhood best friend turned kpop star is the perfect light read for summer. Keeping this one ✔️

Pretty Things - I remember reading somewhere that there's gonna be a TV show based on this book and I added it to my TBR but now that I'm thinking about it, that premise doesn't intrigue me at all 😂 I might try the show when it comes out but since the book didn't pull me in, it's out! ❌

The Last House on Needless Street - a story about a serial killer, a stolen child, revenge, and death that's not what you think it is. With a description like that, I just had to have this book. Interestingly enough, it's actually on my immediate Autumn TBR so I'll probably read this one during the next week. Obviously, I'm keeping it ✔️😂

Stolen Time - a YA time travel book about a girl from 1913 running away from an arranged marriage who literally runs into a time traveler from 2077 who's on a secret mission. Honestly, this sounds SO GOOD. I don't know why I didn't read this like, yesterday. Keeping it! ✔️

So, I got rid of one book which is perfectly fine 😂 I mean, it truly depends on the batch of books. This time. one of the books was literally from this month's TBR so obviously I'm not ditching that one.
