New week means new Monday bookish meme hosted by  The Book Date.

 This was definitely one of the more unique YA mystery novels I read and I wasn't disappointed. While I did guess one major plot twist, there were a few of them so even if you manage to figure some stuff out, there's more to surprise you.

It gets bonus points from me for having a main character that deals with heavy migraines!! While I don't have them myself (I do have headaches basically every other day and have a feeling migraines are in my near future), my mother has horrible ones, so I know the effect they have and this representation seemed realistic enough. 😄

Gotta admit, loving this so far because the two main characters are people you can actually root for and the whole point of the story is for them to clear their names (they are suspects in a murder case) so you bet I'm hoping neither of them did it lol

 

The last leftover from my September TBR, and I really gotta pick up the pace!! My reading slowed down the past 2 weeks because work has been hectic, and I've been trying to reduce screen time by focusing on other hobbies. In turn, these hobbies were so much fun that I kinda put reading aside a bit 😂
