Down The TBR Hole is a a book meme created by Lia @ Lost In A Story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sorting through it all to know what’s actually on there.
It works like this:
1. Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
2. Order on ascending date added.
3. Take the first 5* (or more) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
4. Read the synopses of the books
5. Decide: keep it or should it go?
*I decided to take 4 books at a time because my TBR luckily isn't that long...yet.

I mean...is anyone surprised I kept two sci-fi novels??

One is an epic space opera series, the other is a dystopian YA standalone, and both are exactly what I love, so there was no doubt about keeping any of these 😄

While I do love a good retelling, I'm not really sure Tangled Up In You is a good choice for me for multiple reasons. For one, I prefer fantasy retellings over "modern times contemporary" retellings because some stories just fit better in that setting. Also, I read and reread the premise and didn't really care that much about it. There's also the third point - Tangled is my absolute FAVORITE story, and I'd be an extra harsh critic 😂
No Going Back is just a case of "it's not you, it's me" lol. I have no desire whatsoever to read it and idk why I even added it to my TBR in the first place 😂 Probably because it's YA and every year I add a bunch of "new releases" even though they're not my cup of tea, so I'm sure that was the case in 2024 - I saw it, thought "oooh new and shiny," and just added it 😂

💬 Have you read any of these books? How did you feel about them? Feel free to share! 💬
