Since summer officially started on the 21st it means, the Spring Flower Market reading challenge has come to an end!
I hope you guys enjoyed it if you gave it a try and I'm definitely looking forward to improving the logistics a bit next year 😂 For example, I realized I had no idea how I wanted to measure my overall progress - do I want to collect as many cards as possible for each prompt, or just get one. Then I read so many books that fit all of the prompts and I couldn't track the cards anymore so I gave up 😂 For this year, I think I'll just get one card but you guys can do whatever makes you happy!

1. Rose Lily - Two genres combined.
Trying to describe The Ministry of Time is a difficult task, but that's exactly why it fits this prompt so well - it's a time travel, sci-fi, romantic, historical and spy novel...Which also turned out to be extremely boring oops

2. Angel's Trumpets - Unassuming cover.
Picking Twelfth Knight for this prompt turned out to be the best decision ever because not only does the cover look like a different genre (it's a contemporary romance, not fantasy) but the content is far more complex and serious than the pastel purple would make it seem 😂

3. Skeleton Flower - Less than 1000 ratings.
Once Upon a Rose was pretty meh but it served it's purpose 😂

4. Chocolate Cosmos - A 4.5 rating or higher.
Escaping Pirates: A Seafaring Cinderella Retelling turned out to be so much better than I thought it would based on this...not so fortunate cover 😂 It's a surprisingly realistic Cinderella retelling with resourceful characters you're gonna love!
5. Hoya Flower - A series with 4 books or more.
One can never have enough Murderbot so of course this addition to the series was amazing like the rest of them!

6. Bird of paradise - Colorful cover.
Since I loved everything else by Ann Liang, I was surprised when Never Thought I'd End Up Here turned out to be very underwhelming. I cared more about the friendships than I did for romance. I can't say it was all bad, but it could've been better.
That's all from me! I'd love it if you guys added your links to the link party below. You can add anything - from your sign up posts, update posts or final results. I'd love to see what you've done with the challenge and I'm only sorry I didn't open this link party at the beginning 😂
