New week means new Monday bookish meme hosted by The Book Date.
A fun book in theory, but a little too overwhelming when you actually have to read about a million concepts thrown in together. I gave it 3.5 stars because I did find a lot of things I liked, for example, the lack of unnecessary romantic subplots and the fact that all the characters are smart and resourceful. More on that in my review!
I'm about half way in and this feels like an episode of Criminal Minds - medium paced, got a team of diverse characters trying to find a serial killer and I can sense a plot twist happening soon 😂
GUYS, this is THE LAST book I need to finish ALL of my reading challenges. The amount of uppercase letters tells you how important this is to me 😂 There are 8 days left and I belive I'm gonna make it with some time to spare considering I have already finished half of Killer Smile and this one has less than 300 pages. Man, I planned my December reads perfectly....

Oh no! I'm sad you didn't fully love that library book! It sounded so interesting! Also, you mention Criminal Minds and I am immediately adding that book to my tbr! 😆 (It's got a really good rating on goodreads, too!)

It was neither here nor there, maybe next book would've fixed my issues with it but I don't have any willpower to try it out 😂 Yesss I finished Killer Smile and it was pretty good! It also has a ton of sequels so for anyone looking to satisfy that empty hole after binging CM, it's the perfect solution 😂
