New week means new monday bookish meme hosted by The Book Date.
I read both book 3 and book 4 in the last week and I have to admit, Glittering in the Stars felt like the weakest book in the series - not a bad one, just the one I least liked 😂 That's why, after I finished it and picked this one up, I was so amazed once more because Sweeping S'Ride felt exactly like book one - refreshing, cozy, crazy plot lines and of course, my fave cast of characters being all badass. I think the fact that there was no Kendra nor Vanti in Glittering in the Stars is the reason behind why I liked it a tiny bit less than the other ones 😅 They are my precious babies, I need them!!! I mean, I gave it 4.5 stars so it was still amazing and yet Sweeping S'Ride "swept" me off my feet and I enjoyed every second of it.
I still have a couple of books left for my A-Z reading challenge, and I NEED to finish them as soon as possible. If I leave it all for December, my mood will probably ruin everything so I need to use this sudden spur of productivity 😂 Of course, I have X, Y, and Z left and since I literally have no books which titles begin with those letters, I decided to freestyle it 😂 For example, some books have authors whose (last) names began with those letters so I used them for this challenge, just like this book.
Continuing with the A-Z challenge, again, I took some...liberties 😂 I needed a book with "Y" in the title, and this one has two!! In all the wrong places, but who cares right?? 😂

ReplyDeleteAnd I read See You Yesterday a couple years ago and I liked it! I liked how they explained the whole time loop thing. It was a fun one. I hope you enjoy it!
Me too!! I've actually had to physically restrain myself from picking up her series (or any other Julia Huni book). I decided that I can read them only after I've finished all the prompts for my reading challenges, kind of like a reward 😂😂
DeleteOhh nice! That makes me even more excited for it! I've just now finished The Ending is the Best Part and I hated it...it was too cringe 😂 Hopefuly, See You Yesterday will let my eyes rest lol
