Down The TBR Hole #3

Down The TBR Hole is a a book meme created by Lia @ Lost In A Story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sorting through it all to know what’s actually on there.

It works like this:
1. Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
2. Order on ascending date added.
3. Take the first 5* (or more) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
4. Read the synopses of the books
5. Decide: keep it or should it go?

*I decided to take 4 books at a time because my TBR luckily isn't that long...yet.

  

My Mechanical Romance sounds like the perfect cutesy STEM romance, and of course, I'm keeping that! You can never have enough of fluffy romances 😂 

I've always been into retellings and Alice in Wonderland ones are especially intriguing because the world itself is already crazy so making an even crazier one must be fun. That's why I'm keeping The Wonderland Trials 😄 

Last on this list is The Girl In The Castle, a fascinating psychological thriller about a girl who claims to have come from the past, but she's stuck as a patient at a mental institution, so no one believes her. Very interesting indeed.

While there isn't anything that bad about this book, it's just that when I read the synopsis again, I felt absolutely zero interest. Add to that the fact that I read several reviews and most of them mentioned how annoying the main character is. So yeah, sorry not sorry, Gideon Green In Black and White I'll have to bid you goodbye.

This time I only got rid of one book but that's okay, the main thing is that I keep doing this from time to time and my TBR will surely somehow get smaller😂
