It's time for the Book Blog Hop! Here's the official description:

The first iteration of the Book Blogger Hop, which was started in March 2010 by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books, ended on December 31, 2012. On February 15, 2013, Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer reintroduced the hop with Jennifer's approval. The hop will begin on a Friday of each week and end on a Thursday of the following week. Every week, there will be a prompt with a book-related query. The aim of the blog hop is to provide bloggers with an opportunity to follow other blogs, discover new books, make friends with other bloggers, and gain new followers for their own sites.

This week's question is:

 🐇 "What’s the fastest or slowest you’ve ever finished a book?" 🐇

Since I don't usually track time while I read, I can only answer this approximately 😂 I think the fastest I ever read a book was in about half an hour and that happened twice - once when I had to quickly read a kids book for work (the boy I'm working with at school didn't finish it at home and needed help to answer some questions about it in class) and once when I read a short novel in verse for a reading challenge. Coincidentally, that's also the time I decided to never pick up a novel in verse again 😂

The longest it took me was about two weeks, maybe two and a half? I believe it was last year when I got hit by a big reading slump. The book I was reading was so freaking boring and I was generally in a horrible mood. Now that I think back, all of my slowest reads were ones where I was in a reading slump, which totally makes sense 😁

Generally, I finish most books in 2-4 days, depending on how much free time I have and the book's length. I do read faster if a book catches my interest from the first page 🤔
