New week means new Monday bookish meme hosted by  The Book Date.

 

 Last week was a good reading week because I read these two beauties. Hemlock and Silver is a unique Snow White retelling where the main character is a poison healer who tries to help find a cure for Snow's mysterious illness. Add in a bit of magical worlds inside mirrors, a cute bodyguard and snakes, you get an unforgettable experience! 

Dare You To Lie is basically Veronica Mars in book form mixed with AGGGTM. The fact that I gave this one 5 stars solely on vibes is an important thing. I mean, the book is excellent, no doubt, but the sarcasm + investigation skills of the main character just scream Veronica Mars. And I LOVE Veronica Mars.

Of course I'm binging the whole series, because how could I not??

 

Luckily for me, this series has 4 books so I'm set for the next week or so 😂
