New week means new Monday bookish meme hosted by  The Book Date.

 

 Two super sweet books, but Dating and Dragons was far better because I actually considered the main characters to have a proper romance plot. Bonus points for all the geekiness and green-flag friendships. Never Thought I'd End Up Here also had beautiful friendships, but besides a gorgeous setting, that's all there is to it. I found the main characters forgettable and thought they had zero chemistry. First book got 4 and the second got 3 stars 😄

I'm 45% in and why is this book giving "50-year-old philosophy course book" vibes more than "time travel romance spy thriller," which I was promised???

 

Considering I have absolutely no genre wishes, I'm gonna "randomly" pick up this book because I need it for my "X" prompt 😂
