Usually, I do a quarterly update on these challenges but guys, January (and well, these 15 days of February) has been WILD. My reading mood has been at its best in years and I finished so many prompts 😎

For 2026 I remade some of my templates (which you can grab on my "Templates" page here on the blog) because I was looking for something a bit more neutral - I like it when the book covers are in the spotlight. I've got 8 challenges to talk about today so let's begin!

1. A to Z
✦ Stats: 10 out of 26 (38.46%) ✦
This one is always the easiest - I just add books I'm reading for other challenges.

2. Key Word
✦ Stats: 5 out of 12 (41.67%) ✦
This one is from Chapter Adventure and guys, I'm almost halfway done and it's not even March. Am I the queen of book planning or what??

3. Motif
✦ Stats: 5 out of 12 (41.67%) ✦
Another one from Chapter Adventure, this one is going well too, actually the numbers are the same as the ones above 😂 In any case, I'm so proud for picking books for the challenges that I actually wanted to read!!

4. Rainbow Covers
✦ Stats: 5 out of 10 (50%) ✦
Omgosh this template is too cute, it's my fave. I got the idea after watching someone's journaling video on TikTok. This girl did something similar as in she used the "polaroid frames" as borders for some text and pictures and I thought it would be an excellent way to track this challenge 😍 Similarly to the A to Z challenge, I fill out the colors randomly when I stumble upon books that fit them.

5. Buzzword Title
✦ Stats: 4 out of 12 (33.33%) ✦
To make things more simple, I used the official templates for these two challenges from BooksandLala's website. Also, they're really whimsical and fun and have that weird retro vibe going on that I love.

This one I'm doing okay on, 4 books may not seem like much at first, but since I'm technically supposed to have only 2 by now - that's twice as much 😂 #girlmath

6. Buzzword Cover
✦ Stats: 7 out of 12 (58.33%) ✦
I've always done better on "cover" assignements and this time it's no different 😂 I can't believe I've got more than half done...Again, I think it's all the planning I've done in December where I've poured my heart and soul into various spreadsheets, lists and planners. I do love a good spreadsheet...

7. Goodreads Choice Awards
✦ Stats: 1 out of 12 (8.33%) ✦
This one I'm doing the worst on so far, but that's because there are so many genres on this list 😂 I've actually got Not Quite Dead Yet and Under the Surface on my February TBR so I'll probably get to those by the end of the month. Everyone's talking about romance and love right now, but I've only got one thing on my mind lol

8. Romanceopoly
✦ Stats: 11 out of 28 (39.29%) ✦
I've got hockey romances and all those romantasies in January to thank for these numbers 😂 Romanceopoly is a complex reading challenge that's kind of hard to track with my usual spreads so I decided to not write books names or put covers. There are too many prompts and it gets messy.
Also, you can pick how many prompts you plan on completing and of course, being the overachiever that I am, getting my "degree" wasn't enough so I went for the "Valedictorian" title 😂 That means besides the 20 prompts you have to finish to graduate, you also have to pick a club (+4 prompts) and an event (+4 prompts) to participate in.
I think this is achievable, especially when I get to my summer rom-coms (and a couple of winter romances I saved for November and December!) 😊

Looking at all of these stats makes me so happy and I think I have a shot at finishing these challenges a bit earlier than usual 😂
