Winter TBR ❄️

It's finally that time of year where the weather is the "better stay at home" kind, the beverages are hot, and the books are long 🍵

To start off my "winter-themed" posts, I'll be sharing with you books that fit this season perfectly. I hope I'll get to each of them, but time is not on my side 😂

My plan is to actually finish all of my reading challenge books and then start reading these. I have 4 such books left (although one of them is The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year, so actually, that's 3?) and then I'm diving into all of these wonderful books set during winter or with winter elements!

As you can tell, half of these are cutesy romances because let's face it, we all love those Hallmark-type stories from time to time 😂 The other half is a mix of fantasy and mystery novels. I don't have a specific reading order, I'll just pick up whatever I want to at any given moment and hope for the best 😂

There's also one more book, or should I say series, that I might get to but haven't mentioned - Beartown. I've already read books 1 and 2, but I haven't gotten to the final book. It's been ages since I read it, so a reread is necessary because I remember the books as being complex, and you need to keep track of a million characters 😂 Still, the story is so beautiful and emotional, it's one of the rare books that made me feel both angry, sad and happy at the same time.

Do you have any specific reading plans this winter?

  1. I'll be posting mine soon as well! So excited to see all the TBRs and hopefully 2026 challenges these days.
So many ice sports! It fits the season, doesn't it? I hope to read more of Annah Conwell's books in 2026; I have just finished her More than a Game series and I really liked them, hope you like The Golden Goal as well.
I'm curious about a couple of these romances, but especially for Kerstin Gier; I have only read the Precious Stones trilogy by her but I am intrigued, especially since she does not originally publish in English.

    1. I can't wait to see your list! ❄️

I don't think I've read anything by A. Conwell yet, but this book seemed too cute to pass 😂 Winter sport romances are THE romance subgenre for me. Probably because some of my fave winter movies are Ice Princess and The Cutting Edge 😁

I've also read Ruby Red and loved it! I have high hopes for her other books 😄

  2. Omg it's so funny that all of these are blue or slate gray... except for one 😂 I am also, weirdly enough, reading romances at the moment. I hadn't read a single one until this month, but my mood does what it wants 🤷‍♀️😂 Good luck on your tbr!

Oohh a romance novel that's not also a sci-fi or fantasy adventure??? Idk, something suspicious is going on 😂 Your mood is truly unpredictable lol And thanks!
