New week means new monday bookish meme hosted by The Book Date.
Okay wow the world-building in this novel is insane!!! This book has been on every "enemies-to-lovers" book list since its release, and I can see why because damn, the slow burnnn was crazyy 😍
Also, the cliff hanger at the end is driving me insane because I want to jump into the sequel, but it's 700 pages long, and I'm just not ready for that kind of commitment rn 😂😂 Maybe during the winter holidays when I have more time 🤔
My original plan was to read The Book That Wouldn't Burn for my "library" prompt, but then I realized it's 570 pages long and it's not an "adventurous" book but offers a more philosophical take on things. Basically, the focus is on inspiring change in beliefs, expanding your thinking, etc., and not on the plot. I NEED A FUN PLOT. My mind is not in the right state to try such a book so I had to try and find a new one. 😂 Found this deep in my TBR so I'll give it a try.
There's only one Key Word reading challenge prompt left for me, and that's the March one, for which I chose the word "little." This book sounds super intriguing, so I can't wait to dive into it!
