It's time for the Book Blog Hop! Here's the official description:
The first iteration of the Book Blogger Hop, which was started in March 2010 by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books, ended on December 31, 2012. On February 15, 2013, Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer reintroduced the hop with Jennifer's approval. The hop will begin on a Friday of each week and end on a Thursday of the following week. Every week, there will be a prompt with a book-related query. The aim of the blog hop is to provide bloggers with an opportunity to follow other blogs, discover new books, make friends with other bloggers, and gain new followers for their own sites.
This week's question is:
🐇 "What are the top five books on your TBR (to-be-read) list right now?" 🐇
Since December is starting, my TBR is always the same - manically trying to finish all the reading challenge prompts at the beginning of the month so I can have the last few days left to read whatever I want 😂
First of all, I really need to read The Q for multiple reasons. One, because it's for my "Q" prompt of the A to Z challenge, and two, because it's the only book in a genre (dystopian) that I had no plan to read this month whatsoever. My mood is craving either murder mysteries or fantasies, so I'm gonna get it out of the way first 😂
Then for the "J" prompt, I'm gonna pick up The Jasad Heir, which I've heard so many good things about! If all goes well, I'll probably pick up the sequel right after. Next up is The Book That Wouldn't Burn because I need it for my "library" prompt. The prompt just says "library book" but since that could be interpreted in multiple ways, I decided to go with a book that's about a vast magical library 😂
After finishing the slight fantasy binge, I'm moving on to murder mysteries because I plan on finishing the year by rereading my fave series ever - The Naturals. To switch to that genre, I'm gonna read The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year for my "holiday scene on the cover" prompt. Following with Killer Smile because it's about a character called Stella Knox, and I desperately needed something for my "X" prompt 😭😭
