It’s Monday! What are You Reading? - 31.03.25

New week means new monday bookish meme hosted by  The Book Date.

The shenanigans continue in this super quick and fun novella! I loved that most of the plot was set at a gala and the MC was in a sparkly gown while still being kick-ass 😍 There were a few twists to the plot which again, made me even more excited so I just need to wait for the last installment.

I only have a few chapters left but oh boy, I am not enjoying this as much as I thought I would. First of all, there's insta love and kissing at all the wrong times (you need to help your sister NOT stare at his lips), and second of all, too many inner monologues that are repetitive and boring. I'm still torn between 2 and 3 stars, depending on what happens at the end.

I want to fix the damage from The Spy and I, so I'm picking this one next because it has the same premise 😂 No, literally - a girl whose sister is a spy must evade evil forces and/or government agents while getting help from a hot secret agent 😂 I can feel it in my bones that this one's gonna be so much better because it's Ally freaking Carter ❤️
