Top Ten Tuesday - Books I Never Reviewed

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. Here is the topic of the week:

🤔 Books I Never Reviewed On My Blog 🤔

Idk how to say this, but there's a lot 😂 I struggle with writing reviews on the blog so this was an easy question for me 😂 Most of the time, I drop a short review on Goodreads and mention the book in my "Monday Meme" post. I do review most of those that I have strong opinions about, but if a book is meh - I won't review it. Then there are also the books (usually parts of series by authors I love) I was so amazed by I didn't know what to say (or I didn't want to repeat everything I said last time) 😂

Here are 10 books I read in recent months that I haven't reviewed and who knows if I ever will:

At first, I planned on writing a reason for each of these books but then I realized, it's the same one for all of them 😂 Except Hollow Court - that one I loved but didn't know what to say about it. It just had good vibes 😂 All the others were just major disappointments. I either had higher expectations that weren't reached, or they just generally left me feeling indifferent/bored. I didn't even hate them enough to rant about them on the blog, they were just not that interesting or memorable.

Which books are you most likely to ignore when writing reviews? 💬

  1. I have the same problem. I thought about doing some mini-reviews so that I could add more but then they felt too general and I wanted to say more, but like you said, you can't with some books. Maybe I'll change the format or something, because I do like reading what people think about books.

    1. Yes! That's exactly it, sometimes you just have a general idea of what you feel for the book, but not exact opinions. I love doing mini reviews, they're easy to write and I don't feel as pressured as with normal-length reviews
