New week means new monday bookish meme hosted by The Book Date.
Highlighting the worst out of influencer culture, this book is actually terrifying because it's a possible reality. The kids have to embarrass themselves in order to collect followers and not get killed off. I flew through this book and loved every second of it. It can be a bit gruesome, but it's worthwhile. It's got a good message, excellent characters and a twisty plot. More in my review..which...of course I'll write one day...
Keeping the sci-fi thriller theme, I'm currently reading chapter 2 of this intriguing space mystery. If the book is at least half as good as it's cover, I'm all set.
Since I plan on switching to murder/crime mysteries for November, what better way to transition from sci-fi horror than to read Six Wakes - a murder mystery set on a spaceship.
