⭐ According to Deadline, the series Young Sherlock just got a new cast member. Max Irons will play Mycroft next to Hero Fiennes Tiffin’s Sherlock and you know what? I ain't even mad. I'll literally watch every and any Sherlock adaptation because I love the story too much. I'm really curious to see what direction they take.

 

⭐ Kenny Ortega (for those of you like me who had no idea who this guy is - he made High School Musical and Descendants 😂) is set to make a YA adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera for Disney+. I'm kinda excited for this, not gonna lie. The music from the original is a masterpiece so I'm hoping they keep the same charm.

⭐ Dylan *heart eyes* O'Brien is starring in a new movie and the trailer for Caddo Lake dropped recently: 

Here's the synopsis by IMDB: 

When an 8-year-old girl disappears on Caddo Lake, a series of past deaths and disappearances begin to link together, altering a broken family's history.

I don't care what it's about honestly, when I see Dylan I watch it no questions asked 😂

If Chris Pine comes back as well I'm gonna die.

⭐ If you loved the gorgeous historical teen show The Buccaneers, you'll be thrilled to know that Leighton Meester joined the cast for the second season!!! Ahh I can't wait to see it. I'm still hoping Nan ends up with Theo, that boy is too cute ❤️

⭐ A TV series adaptation of Lauren Roberts' YA romantasy book "Powerless" is in development and I'm so here for it!!! It's the perfect blend of weird humor, grumpy x sunshine "office" romance and unique fantasy. 

⭐ Now, brace yourselves, we get not ONE but TWO JANE AUSTEN ADAPTATIONS!!! 

First up, Netflix has a Pride and Prejudice TV series in development. No major news so far because it hasn't been fully confirmed just yet, so basically, we're just waiting. Let's just hope they don't mess it up like with Persuasion. 

We got a bit more info about the other TV show which is based on the novel The Other Bennet Sister. It's produced by Bad Wolf (Doctor Who, BBC) and it's going to focus on Mary Bennet. 

⭐ Guys, there's only one more bit of news left and for me, it's the one I care about the most. Our queen Marissa Meyer, of The Lunar Chronicles fame, iS GOING TO HAVE 3 NEW RETELLINGS AHHH *imagine me screaming right now*

The first book is coming out in fall 2025 and I don't know how I'll survive till then.
